Brandi passante was famous when she appeared in A&E's 'Storage wars', the reality series that featured Jarrod Schulz. Both of them gained mainstream recognition through this series. The show auctions off items in lockers that have rent that hasn't been paid in three months. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop located in Orange, California participated in the auction hoping to acquire storage units for a low price. They were shocked for them to be able to become famous. They were very diplomatic when it came to their requests during the entire show and was one of the most prominent actors. Their popularity on the reality show helped boost their company and allowed them to start a new shop addition to their existing shop that they already ran. They also appeared as the protagonists of a spin-off show titled 'Brandi and Jarrod The Married job.'
