Marg Helgenberger, an American actress who rose to prominence with her role as Siobhan Ryan on the TV show "Ryan's hope". Her journey from a small town girl to Hollywood is quite remarkable. As a young girl she didn't have any hopes of being an actor. In her early years there was no desire to become an actress. However, it was her goal to follow the example of her mother and pursue a career path in nursing. Her interest in acting arose while she was visiting colleges to figure out which career path she would like to pursue.
